The Joy of the Restoration Community

When the temple in Jerusalem is finally completed the community erupt in deep joy.

However this joy is not merely the result of a good job well done. It is rooted in the discovery that the God who decreed all this to happen was good to his word. His promises were fulfilled as he stated many years earlier.

The same God who decreed the restoration of his people in Ezra is the same God who decrees the powerful restoration of his people TODAY.

Today we base our joy on the solid rock of God’s decree and it grows among us as we see his decree fleshed out as he builds his church.

In this message we see:

  1. Joy is FOUNDED on God’s decree
  2. Joy is RECEIVED through participation
  3. Joy is EXPRESSED in wholehearted worship
